SAINT MAICOLPatron of all protectors

File 00 · The Nexus

Behind every badge is a person. Behind every door is a community.

Saint Maicol, patron saint of all protectors, stands in the middle. This is a bridge, not a battlefield: plain facts for the people, and a reminder for our protectors that the community they serve is worth protecting.

The bridge runs both ways.

  • The Golden Rule, on both sides of the badge. Treat others the way you want to be treated.
  • Facts first. Every booklet figure comes from an official or highly reputable public source, and where a figure isn’t public, we say so.
  • Educate both sides. Officers are people behind the badge. Citizens are people behind the door. Both deserve respect.
  • Not anti-police. Not anti-community. Pro-understanding.

Who is Saint Maicol?

Rev. Michael Paula is a mentor, minister, and recording artist with twenty-plus years in business and a lifetime in ministry. He has stood with people at the altar, at the graveside, and at the pulpit.

Saint Maicol is the name he carries for this work: patron saint of all protectors, and a mediator between the people and those sworn to keep them safe.
